To celebrate the signing of his new 30 million dollar deal with the Raiders, Richard Seymour bought Flavor Flav's teeth.

From The Mercury News

The Raiders retained the services of defensive tackle Richard Seymour on Wednesday without having to use the franchise tag, agreeing to terms on a two-year contract worth as much as $30 million with a guarantee of $22.5 million.

Although Seymour was the first NFL player of note scheduled for free agency to re-sign with his team this offseason, the move was not announced by the Raiders but confirmed by a source close to Seymour.

Raiders officials couldn’t be reached for comment.

Seymour, 31, was facing a possible franchise tag for a second consecutive season that would have paid him $14.9 million for the 2011 season, a 20 percent raise from last season.

Having played on three Super Bowl championship teams in New England, Seymour was on record as wanting to stay in Oakland.

  1. If you want to do Trance Dance go to Goa. There was one night in January 1996 that we heard Rave music all night from the hill north of us at Arambol in north Goa. That would be inland from the bamboo forest and brackish lake a mile north of Arambol. Does anybody here remember Goa Gil?

  3. I loved Lori’s article. The trip sounds wonderful and you are brave and smart to have done it. It has given me encouragement to travel alone again. I have only done it once and what started out as “what am I doing” turned in to a pretty nice trip to the Dominican Republic. Thanks Aunt Danny

  4. Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
