From The Denver Post

Broncos coach Josh McDaniels said Monday that he didn’t know why Chiefs coach Todd Haley wagged his finger and scolded McDaniels rather than go through with the perfunctory postgame handshake.

“I was proud of the way we played, and I have a lot of respect for their entire organization. Obviously, I know a lot of people over there. So, I’m not really sure,” McDaniels said. “It was part of the game, and we all make choices.”

Haley, in his Monday news conference, apologized, saying that he allowed the “emotions of the situation” to take over.” I do believe in doing what’s right, and that was not right,” Haley said.

And with that, Handshakegate was put to bed. Until Dec. 5, that is, when the Broncos travel to Kansas City.
